The simple bolero is very, very easy to sew - it’s a great beginner’s project! You can make it out of any material, woven
or knit. You’ll need about 5/8 yard of material for this project (add 5/8 yard of lining material if your material is sheer and you need to line the bolero).
Use the following pattern and instructions to cut out the pieces for the simple bolero (1 square on the grid = 1 inch;). Then sew together at the shoulder and underarm. If your material will fray, hem all the way around the outer edge.
